No, seriously, what?
Yes, edible insects! All our products use food-grade crickets raised in a CFIA approved facility
Where do you get your crickets?
.We buy all our edible insects from a company based in Ontario. Right now our products contain cricket flour, and we are experimenting with mealworm flour for future products. We are also looking into other species, such as grasshoppers, wax worms and silk worms.
In the near future we will work on some exciting new projects to bring you more edible insects!

What is exactly the "Cricket flour" you use in your products?
Great question! It is exactly what you think: 100% roasted ground crickets! It is a great ingredient, that enhances the other flavors and aromas in our food items.
Why use crickets in your products?
Besides their high levels of protein, minerals and vitamin B12 that transform regular recipes in healthier versions, and their sustainability (less resources, land and green house gases emissions), their taste is very good, and couples perfectly with both sweet and salty baked goods!
